What we welcome

Pitch focused explanations, comparisons, viewing prompts and thoughtful background pieces about story, image, sound, performance or editing. A strong proposal starts with one precise question or observation and shows why it will give readers a fresh way to watch.

Make the angle clear

Tell us the working title, central idea, intended reader and the main example or examples you would use. Explain what the piece adds beyond a plot summary or general opinion, and flag any factual claims that would need careful sourcing.

Before sending
