United Movie Journal

Editorial policy

United Movie Journal aims to make film craft clear without overstating what a scene or production detail can prove. We write with care, show our reasoning and make changes when an error is identified.

Accuracy and interpretation

We check factual statements against suitable published material where needed and keep interpretation distinct from verifiable detail. When an article describes an image, sound or edit, its point should be understandable from the example and explanation, not from an unsupported claim about intent.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for relevance to readers and the subject. A commercial relationship does not determine our conclusions, and we do not present promotional claims as independent editorial judgment.

Corrections

Readers can use the Contact page to identify a possible error and include the article title and the detail in question. We review correction requests, amend substantiated errors, and make meaningful changes clear in the article where appropriate.

Partner material and illustrations

Sponsored or partner material is identified clearly so readers can distinguish it from editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where an illustration could be mistaken for a documentary film still or a real production image, its illustrative nature is made clear.
